WhatsApp and Telegram breeder-group scams
What happened
A documented pattern. Scammers join or run WhatsApp and Telegram "breeder" and "pets for sale" groups, sometimes impersonating the group admin to look trusted, and post irresistible deals with a deposit link. Because everything happens in chat, there is nothing to hold them to. Do not trust a deal just because it is in a group, verify the person and animal independently and in person, and never pay a deposit to a group member you cannot confirm.
