Fake champion bloodlines and inflated pedigree claims
What happened
A documented scam pattern. A seller inflates the price by claiming "champion bloodline", "imported parents" or "show quality", backed by paperwork that is forged or simply invented. Buyers pay a premium for a pedigree that does not exist. Never take pedigree claims at face value: ask for the parents' registration numbers and verify them directly with the relevant registry (KUSA for dogs), and be wary of "certificates" that cannot be checked. Real show and breeding stock come with verifiable registration, not just a nice-looking printout.
