2. What We Offer
PetGuru is an online classifieds, listing, and directory platform that connects pet owners, buyers, breeders, shelters, adopters, and pet-care professionals across South Africa, together with related community, verification, and informational features. A description of each listing, product, or service — including its main characteristics and, where a price applies, the full price including any applicable taxes and delivery costs — is shown on the relevant listing or product page before you commit to a transaction.
PetGuru is an intermediary and does not currently process payments or hold funds; transactions are concluded directly between users. See our Terms & Conditions (Section 2) for our role.
3. Codes of Conduct & Industry Membership
PetGuru aligns its content and take-down practices with the standards of the Internet Service Providers' Association ("ISPA") (ispa.org.za) and is pursuing formal membership.
4. Payment, Security & Privacy
Where an integrated Store and checkout facility is offered, payments are processed through a secure third-party payment gateway. How we collect, use, and protect your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy and POPIA Notice.
