Puppy mills posing as small home breeders
What happened
A documented pattern. A high-volume puppy mill markets itself as a loving small home breeder, using staged photos and always having a puppy "ready now" in any breed you ask for. The animals are often poorly socialised and prone to health problems. Red flags: constant availability across many breeds, no waiting list, refusal to let you see where the dogs are kept, and meetups arranged away from the property. Insist on visiting the home and meeting the mother; a real home breeder is proud to show you.
