Instagram cattery and kennel scams
What happened
A documented pattern. Polished Instagram accounts pose as boutique catteries or kennels, using stolen photos and bought followers to look established, then take deposits by DM and disappear. Follower counts and pretty grids are not proof of a real breeder. Reverse image search the photos, cross-check the breeder with CFSA, SACC or KUSA, and insist on a live video call and an in-person visit before paying.
