Cloned and spoofed real-breeder websites
What happened
A documented pattern. Scammers copy a genuine breeder's entire website onto a look-alike domain (a slightly different spelling or extension), so buyers think they are dealing with the real kennel. Always check the exact web address, be wary of odd domains and payment details that differ from the breeder's known account, and phone the real breeder on a number you find independently to confirm you are talking to them.
