Mobile grooming and pet-service deposit scams
What happened
A documented scam pattern. A cheap mobile groomer or pet-taxi advertises online and asks for an upfront deposit to "book your slot", then never arrives and stops replying. Legitimate local groomers rarely need a large deposit from a new customer sight-unseen. Prefer providers with a real address, verifiable reviews and a track record, keep deposits small and traceable, and be cautious of anyone pushing for payment before any service is rendered.
