Gift-card and voucher payment demands
What happened
A documented scam pattern. At some point the "seller", "courier" or "rescue" asks to be paid in gift cards or store vouchers, or to read out voucher codes over the phone. No legitimate pet seller or courier is paid in gift cards. Any request to pay for a pet, a fee or a "fine" using gift cards, vouchers or airtime is a certain scam. Stop and report it.
