About Paws & Plains Boarding Kennels

Paws & Plains is a family-run boarding kennel set on a smallholding just outside Bloemfontein, with wide open spaces for dogs to enjoy. We offer individual kennels with large attached runs, communal play sessions, and a dedicated exercise paddock. We are SA Boarding Kennel Association members and follow strict hygiene protocols. We accommodate all breeds, including giant and great Danes, and provide senior dog care with special bedding and gentler activity schedules.

Good communication throughout
Had a positive experience with Paws & Plains Boarding Kennels. The pet was healthy and well-socialised. They provided vaccination records and were happy to answer all our questions. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reputable Dog Hotel & Accommodation in the area.

Five stars all the way
We drove over 300km to collect from Paws & Plains Boarding Kennels and it was worth every kilometre. The facilities were clean, the animals were clearly well-loved, and the handover was professional. They even gave us a care pack with food, a blanket that smelled like mum, and detailed feeding instructions. Truly top-class Dog Hotel & Accommodation.

Disappointing experience
Unfortunately my experience with Paws & Plains Boarding Kennels was not great. Communication was slow, the pet's vaccination records were incomplete, and I had to chase for follow-up information. The pet itself is fine, thankfully, but the service was below what I expected.
