Coastal Hounds is a boutique dog boarding facility in Hillcrest, just minutes from Durban's beautiful coastline. Our property features large grassy paddocks, shaded rest areas, and a dedicated small-dog zone. We take a maximum of 20 dogs to ensure personal attention for every guest. Morning and evening walks include beach outings for water-loving dogs. Our team are all certified in pet first aid and we partner with a local vet clinic for emergencies.

Could have been better
Unfortunately my experience with Coastal Hounds Boarding was not great. Communication was slow, the pet's vaccination records were incomplete, and I had to chase for follow-up information. The pet itself is fine, thankfully, but the service was below what I expected.

Good communication throughout
Good experience overall. Coastal Hounds Boarding was upfront about everything and the process was straightforward. The pet has adapted well to our home. Only giving 4 stars because communication could have been slightly quicker, but no real complaints.

Very happy with our purchase
Had a positive experience with Coastal Hounds Boarding. The pet was healthy and well-socialised. They provided vaccination records and were happy to answer all our questions. Would recommend to anyone looking for a reputable Dog Hotel & Accommodation in the area.
