The Pup & Plate is East London's original dog-friendly cafe, located on the popular Esplanade beachfront strip. Enjoy ocean views from our covered terrace while your dog relaxes beside you. We serve all-day breakfast, fresh rolls, specialty coffee, and cold craft beverages. Dogs receive a complimentary homemade treat and fresh water on arrival. Saturday mornings feature a farmers market pop-up in our courtyard with pet product vendors.

Great experience overall
The Pup & Plate East London was very professional and responsive. Communication was good throughout the process, and the pet was exactly as described. The only minor issue was a short delay in scheduling the collection, but otherwise a smooth experience. Happy with our new addition!

Highly recommend The Pup & Plate East London
We drove over 300km to collect from The Pup & Plate East London and it was worth every kilometre. The facilities were clean, the animals were clearly well-loved, and the handover was professional. They even gave us a care pack with food, a blanket that smelled like mum, and detailed feeding instructions. Truly top-class Dog-Friendly Restaurant.
