The Dog Garden is Cape Town's original dog-friendly restaurant, nestled in a lush garden setting in Green Point. Our spacious outdoor area features a dedicated off-leash zone where dogs can socialise while owners enjoy wood-fired pizzas, craft beers, and seasonal cocktails. Disappointing experience
I would not go back to The Dog Garden. The premises were not as clean as the photos suggested, and I felt pressured to make a quick decision. The pet has thankfully settled well, but the experience left a bad taste.

Would not recommend
Unfortunately my experience with The Dog Garden was not great. Communication was slow, the pet's vaccination records were incomplete, and I had to chase for follow-up information. The pet itself is fine, thankfully, but the service was below what I expected.

Highly recommend The Dog Garden
What impressed me most about The Dog Garden was their thoroughness. They asked US questions to make sure we were the right fit — and that tells you everything about how much they care. The pet was healthy, socialised, and clearly well-cared for. Outstanding experience.
